About The Position

About our group: The Systems Planning team aligns demand and supply to ensure the best possible availability, supporting revenue goals and customer satisfaction. The group evaluates the global supply chain and works to optimize supply levels and lead times across all products. Systems plays a critical role at Seagate by supporting vast system products for a wide range of customers. Our scalable systems deliver value by storing, moving, securing, analyzing, and monetizing large volumes of data. About the role - you will: Be an integral member of the planning team. Lead supply and demand alignment activities at the Systems contract manufacturing site, manage escalations from Revenue Operations and Account Management, and participate in weekly calls related to supply and demand changes. Focus on data and key metrics to identify issues and strengthen planning processes. Make recommendations based on data analysis. Support supply chain execution activities, including inventory control and supply planning for production materials. Lead the final review and publication of the Master Production Schedule for all factories. Work with global cross functional teams to maintain clear and effective communication. Apply strong project management skills to drive special projects with the contract manufacturer that improve business processes, tools, collaboration, and the overall quality of supply and demand outcomes. Requirements

  • Previous experience with data analysis in planning or supply chain roles.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong team contributor who works well with others.

  • Effective communicator across teams and time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with international manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Experience in high tech industries is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP IBP is a plus.
