About The Position

The HRIS Senior Analyst will play a key role in the successful implementation of Workday, focusing on Security, Reporting, Workforce Planning, Prism Analytics, and People Experience (PEX). This position will partner with various stakeholders to design, configure, test, and deploy Workday solutions that meet business needs and ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems. This position is on-site in Houston, TX, and requires full-time office presence—remote or hybrid work is not available. Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Workday experience, including implementation and major HCM functional enhancements.
  • Hands-on expertise in Security, Reporting, Workforce Planning.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities with the flexibility to collaborate across various departments and organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive, open relationships with customers and peers.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and produce accurate, professional, and timely documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Prism Analytics and PEX preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and configure Workday security roles and policies to ensure proper access controls and compliance with data privacy requirements.
  • Develop and implement Workday reports and dashboards, leveraging Prism Analytics to integrate external data for advanced insights.
  • Support the design and configuration of Workforce Planning, including headcount planning and organizational modeling, in collaboration with HR and Finance.
  • Configure and optimize People Experience (PEX) features to deliver personalized, intuitive experiences for employees.
  • Participate in system testing, data validation, and troubleshooting during implementation phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to HR and business stakeholders to enable adoption and self-service capabilities.
  • Stay current with Workday releases and recommend enhancements post-implementation for continuous improvement.
