Investment teams are organized into an Equity Strategies group and a Multi Asset Strategies group. Most investment team members are engaged in original research using fundamental intuition, market intelligence, modern finance and scientific methods. Our client base is comprised of institutional investors across the globe, including public & private retirement funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments & foundations, and sub-advisory mandates. The Sr. Analyst is a highly experienced IT professional responsible for supporting the firm's IT infrastructure and providing leadership and oversight to the end user support team. This includes coordinating the support effort for the user community as well as designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and networks, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. The Desktop Supervisor will also work with other IT team members to develop and implement security policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in technology or applicable technical training/certification required
  • 7+ years of experience in systems and networking, with a focus on the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based technologies, including Windows 2019/2022, Windows 10/11, Office 365
  • Familiarity with supporting and maintaining virtual platforms
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to other Systems Analysts on user requests and end user related projects
  • Establish policies and procedures for the desktop team to ensure that support related issues are properly prioritized and responded to effectively
  • Provide technical support to users
  • Design, implement, and maintain the firm's IT platforms, including endpoints, servers, networks, and security
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures
  • Work with other IT team members to ensure the smooth operation of the firm's IT initiatives
  • Stay up to date on the latest IT trends and technologies
  • Document IT systems and procedures
  • After-hours 7/24 support rotation for systems/network related issues
