Group/Division With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Responsibilities and Scope KLA is seeking a motivated individual for a management position in a world-class algorithm group within the reticle product division (RAPID). The successful candidate will manage a team to work on algorithm solutions for most advanced imaging systems for mask inspection. Provide hands-on leadership throughout the development lifecycle of algorithmic solutions for image modeling and processing, from requirements analysis and conceptual design to prototyping and product deployment. Develop both machine learning and traditional algorithmic solutions. Collaborate closely with system teams to co-optimize algorithms alongside other subsystems, ensuring optimal overall system performance. Work cross-functionally to uphold technical excellence and agile development practices, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. Foster, support, and empower team members to achieve excellence

Requirements

  • Master or Ph.D. in Applied Math, EE, Computer science or related field
  • Substantial work experience in image processing, machine learning, or deep learning in advanced imaging systems
  • Proven leadership or mentorship within a team of engineers delivering projects with a multiple-person-year scope is preferred
  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 5 years
  • Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
