About The Position

As a Sr. Administrative Assistant here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team by managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations within the organization. Your expertise will help streamline processes and enhance productivity across various functions. You will report directly to the Vice President of North America Sales in the Process Automation business. You’ll work out of our Houston, Texas location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will play a key role in the efficiency of our administrative functions, allowing our North America sales team to focus on strategic initiatives and deliver exceptional results for our customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an administrative role within a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and other relevant software tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills to ensure tasks, documents, and communications are systematically managed.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple departments and managing confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience in supporting senior management or executives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and experience supporting cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage administrative tasks such as meeting organization, calendar coordination, travel planning, and expense management.
  • Oversee scheduling, correspondence, and documentation to ensure timely communication and support organized and structured information flows.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations, providing critical information for decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Oversee administrative processes and support the implementation of office policies and procedures.
  • Support the North American Sales Team with customer meetings, visits logistics, support customer events.
