About The Position

Under limited supervision and acting on your own initiative, you will perform various administrative duties for Executive level Managers, General Managers, or Manager of department(s). Your assignments will generally involve work of a confidential nature and require a thorough knowledge of the practices and procedures of the function, company products, policies, and programs. This role can sit in Iowa, Minnesota, or Missouri. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Proficiency in PC applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized
  • Able to work with employees at all levels of the organization

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or Associate’s degree with 0 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and analyze information; prepare reports, manuals, agendas, correspondence, and memorandum as guided by general company practice
  • Establish and maintain departmental databases and develop spreadsheets of importance to the department
  • Assist in meeting planning and preparation work needed, i.e., drafting agendas and broader communications
  • Coordinate details of departmental meetings and/or on and off-site conferences and events
  • Prepare materials in final form from very rough and involved drafts which may utilize frequent use of technical terminology and which combine materials from several sources
  • Manage business travel arrangements
  • Screen and redirect calls, take messages, handle mail
  • Coordinate activities across departments and follow up to ensure that requests are carried out
  • Process expense reports and payment of invoices
  • Interface with other assistants to share and coordinate workload
  • Cross-train lower-level assistants in the departments
  • Perform additional accountabilities as required.
