We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the month-end close, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role works closely with operations, supply chain, FP&A, and project teams to provide timely financial insights that support sound business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Demonstrated reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines and commitments
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • CPA or CMA designation
  • Experience with long-term contract accounting and job costing
  • Experience with multi-site manufacturing operations

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Analyze financial results and investigate variances versus budget and prior periods
  • Review journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and proper classification
  • Prepare and review complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain oversight of capital purchases and capitalization activity
  • Review production variances and partner with operations to explain key drivers
  • Monitor project-related financial activity, including cost accumulation and budget-to-actual analysis
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external auditors
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and efficiency
  • Assist with system enhancements, testing, and implementation
  • Provide guidance and informal mentoring to other accounting team members
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
