Prepare monthly general ledger journal entries and month end accruals Prepares & file sales and use tax returns Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly Analyze monthly financial results and explain variances to budget and forecast Review monthly P&L and ensure accuracy Assist with financial and tax audits Assist with the month-end closing process adhering to strict deadlines Provide back-up and support to the Finance Team Takes the initiative and seeks process improvement opportunities within assigned responsibilities Completes other duties as assigned to meet accounting department responsibilities Requirements 5 or more years of recent Corporate Accounting experience CPA or progress toward CPA preferred Experience in Sage Intacct a plus Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with advanced level of Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid written and verbal communication skills Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
