Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years progressive accounting experience
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and audit coordination
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and guide team members
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Insurance or statutory accounting experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements and related insurance schedules
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP)
  • Support and coordinate internal and external audit processes
  • Partner cross-functionally to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
  • Mentor and develop accounting team members, fostering growth and excellence
