In this role, you will be a key contributor to the month-end close process, preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts across a multi-site organization. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; minimum 3 years of accounting experience required.
Strong GAAP knowledge required; multi-location or manufacturing environment experience is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and consolidating financial software such as OneStream is helpful.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset and desire to improve processes and internal controls.
Able to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments and all levels of the organization.
This role may require occasional travel of less than 10% to support multi-site operations.

Responsibilities

Compile and prepare journal entries to support month-end and journal entry close processes for several sites.
Prepare month-end account reconciliations, including cash reconciliations, researching and resolving variances with accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain fixed asset records and support related journal entries, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposal accounting in accordance with GAAP.
Manage intercompany transactions and billing, ensuring accurate reconciliation across entities and resolving discrepancies in coordination with business partners.
Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts, researching variances and providing clear explanations to finance leadership and collaborators.
Analyze monthly financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow) for accuracy and completeness, supporting consolidated reporting across multiple sites.
Maintain and update SOX documentation and coordinate support for internal and external audit activities, ensuring all required controls and documentation are complete.
Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports to assist management in decision-making, and provide general accounting support across sites as needed.
