About The Position

This role involves working closely with Verizon's agent and third-party retail partners to expand the customer base within the small to medium business market. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, including targeted incentive programs, to boost sales and profitability through these indirect channels. A key aspect of the role is continuously assessing the performance of individual agents and retailers, then creating customized plans that incorporate incentives, promotions, marketing programs, training, and education to enhance their productivity and help them achieve their sales targets. The ultimate goal is to drive growth in the wireless business by empowering and improving the capabilities of partner agents and retailers.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
  • Willingness to travel in an assigned territory 50-75% of the time
  • Eligibility to pass motor vehicle records check

Responsibilities

  • Develop and create sales and marketing strategies along with targeted incentive programs to drive sales and profitability through this channel
  • Assess performance of each agent and retailer and develop a tailored plan to improve productivity to help them meet their targets
  • Grow the wireless business through our partner agents and retailers
  • Enhance agent capabilities and performance through product knowledge and skills, and tailored sales strategies to drive achievement of agent sales targets
  • Evaluate agent and overall channel sales performance for continuous improvement
  • Develop, implement and monitor regional sales and incentive programs
  • Communicate sales program results and effectiveness
  • Motivate our indirect agents to exceed sales
  • Provide feedback on sales techniques and customer interactions
