Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in a US based University in a PhD program majoring electrical engineering or another related field.
  • Hands-on experience with analog & mixed signal design, layout, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in using CAD tools for schematic capture, layout, and simulation (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, EMX, etc.)
  • Familiarity with test equipment and measurement techniques for analog circuits (e.g., oscilloscopes, network analyzers).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and simulation of analog and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Perform schematic capture, circuit layout, and verification using industry-standard CAD tools.
  • Conduct simulations to evaluate circuit performance and optimize designs for various parameters such as gain, bandwidth, noise, and power consumption.
  • Participate in the design review process and provide constructive feedback to enhance design quality.
  • Assist in the testing and characterization of fabricated ICs, analyzing measurement data to verify design specifications.
  • Document design processes, simulation results, and test procedures clearly and thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including photonics, layout, and test engineers.
