Coordinate daily operations of county park facilities, including gyms, athletic fields, courts, and other amenities Provide customer service, process payments, and perform office/cashier duties while opening, closing, and monitoring facilities Use RecTrac software to process athletic reservations, sports events, and facility usage Make regular rounds at high-traffic sports parks to ensure reservation compliance and address issues promptly Serve as the primary evening point of contact, troubleshooting problems and communicating updates to management and site staff Build and maintain positive relationships with community members, schools, and local sports organizations Address visitor concerns, ensure a welcoming environment, and enforce facility rules, safety guidelines, and risk-management procedures Maintain accurate records, manage site inventories, and prepare reports using RecTrac and Smartsheet Coordinate the Sports Ambassador volunteer program—including recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating volunteers Conduct facility inspections and support maintenance tasks such as field prep, turf care, line painting, equipment setup, and emergency responses
