The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is a thought-leader and best-in-class provider in education, wellness, youth development, and community-building, serving as one of Atlanta's oldest and most essential non-profits. They also engage over 25,000 volunteers and donors. The Sports Monitor position, under the direction of the Sports Director or Coordinator, involves monitoring sports programs, opening/closing sites, and responding to various situations to ensure the safety of participants and spectators, as well as the cleanliness of the site. This role does not involve sports instruction and requires adherence to the policies, goals, mission, values, and objectives established by the Metropolitan Atlanta YMCA, Branch Strategic Plan, Safety Protocols, and Member Services Guidelines and Non-negotiables, with an emphasis on member service, program knowledge, member/staff safety, and communication.
