About The Position

Gateway Rehab's (GRC) Back on Track program in Braddock, PA is urgently hiring security Monitors to help maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment for our patients. Afternoon and overnight shifts are now available with a competitive shift differential. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, observant, and ready to be a key part of a mission-driven organization, making an impact while earning more for their time. The position is located within a Department of Corrections Center.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to pay sharp attention to detail for monitoring resident behavior, facility movement, and identifying potential risks
• Ability to defuse tense situations and handle disputes calmly and effectively
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and uphold a professional demeanor
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a Department of Corrections Clean Background Check
• Ability to pass a Drug Screen (Company paid)
• Ability to get a PDD/TB Test (Company paid when possible)
• Valid driver’s license with favorable driving record
• Ability to obtain a CPR certification shortly after starting

Responsibilities

• Monitoring patient movement
• Maintaining detailed logs
• Ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures
• Acting as the first point of contact for new patients, conducting intakes and orientations
• Administering drug screenings
• Overseeing medication dispensing
• Conducting random room checks
• Transporting residents as needed
