Full-time temporary position available on or after March 1, 2026 for Athletic Communications. Appointment will be made for one year from date of hire with the possibility of reappointment and/or becoming permanent based on budget, department needs, and job performance. This position’s responsibilities are carried out under general supervision. The incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing sports information and media relations programs of moderate scope and complexity. Duties include serving as a media liaison, coordinating press conferences and media interviews, creating content for communication platforms (including websites, social media, and game-day programs), and producing statistics, rosters, and recaps. The incumbent ensures communications comply with NCAA and Conference rules, provides input on publicity and marketing initiatives, and analyzes statistical summaries for coaches, media, and conferences. The role requires independent judgment, collaboration with university communications, and the ability to provide lead work direction to staff and student employees.
