About The Position

The Sports Information Graduate Assistant will provide overall support to the Columbia College athletic program. Assist Associate Director of Athletics with all facets of the athletic program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; Assist in regular updating of the Cougar website Coordinate production of athletic printed promotional and game-day materials Coordinate in-game, seasonal and career statistical upkeep for all programs Assist in national statistical reporting to the conference and national office Keep accurate historical archives for all programs Assist in production of pre- and post-game press releases for distribution Assist in promotion of department on various social media sites. Assist with projects and ventures for the Cougar Club and Scholarship Fund. Be supportive of all athletic teams and athletic department personnel. Assist in local and national award nominations for students and staff Record, edit and produce various video clips. Work effectively with students, student-athletes, administrators, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, officials, and coaching peers. Demonstrate a working knowledge of NAIA rules and maintain the integrity of the athletic program through the appropriate application of these rules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Must be accepted in to the Graduate Program at Columbia College.
