Your Role as Sports & Games Specialist As the Sports & Games Specialist, you will design and lead engaging sports activities and games that promote teamwork, cooperation, and achievement. From running group games to planning camp-wide activities, your creativity and enthusiasm will bring energy and excitement to the Camp KEFF experience.

Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate or age 18+.
  • 1-2 years of experience in education.
  • Passion for Youth: Strong enthusiasm for working with children in grades TK-5.
  • Curriculum Development: Experience creating engaging educational materials incorporating Jewish themes.
  • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain during training).
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse populations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a camp setting is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and implement sports and group games for campers in grades TK-5.
  • Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all participants during sports activities.
  • Organize and maintain sports equipment and supplies to support smooth operations.
  • Participate in camping trips, field trips, and other camp events, fostering camper engagement.
  • Serve as a resource for staff to incorporate sports and games into their programming.
  • Lead team-building activities and cooperative games that inspire collaboration.
  • Collaborate with staff to design and execute unit and camp-wide programs.
