Your Role as the Art Specialist The Art Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping the camp experience for children in grades TK-5. Your mission? To make art a joyful and meaningful part of their summer. Whether it’s painting, crafting, or exploring new techniques, you’ll infuse every activity with energy and creativity!

Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate or age 18+.
  • 1-2 years of experience in education.
  • Strong enthusiasm for working with children in grades TK-5.
  • Experience creating engaging educational materials incorporating Jewish themes.
  • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain during training).
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse populations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a camp setting is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead engaging art activities for children in grades TK-5.
  • Maintain and organize art supplies to keep the creativity flowing.
  • Collaborate with staff to infuse art into camp-wide programs and special events.
  • Develop and deliver training to empower other staff with art skills.
  • Participate in field trips, camping trips and other camp-wide events.
