About The Position

Pediatric speech therapist position working with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, in inpatient and outpatient settings. With experience, opportunities may be available in specialty areas, including NICU. Seeking a team-player with excellent communication skills, strong evidence-based practice, caring attitude towards all patients and their families, and effective time management / organization skills.

Requirements

Master's degree from an accredited Speech Therapy/Communication Disorders program
ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology
Alabama Speech Language Pathology license
Experience required with pediatric feeding, swallowing, and modified barium swallow studies

Responsibilities

Evaluations, re-evaluations and ongoing direct patient care with children from birth to 18 years
Management of a highly diverse caseload including treatment of language, articulation, cognitive, feeding and swallowing disorders
Coordination of care with family and members of the healthcare team
