About The Position

Pediatric physical therapist position working with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, in outpatient and inpatient settings. With experience, opportunities may be available in specialty areas, including NICU. Seeking a team-player with excellent communication skills, strong evidence-based practice, caring attitude towards all patients and their families, and effective time management / organization skills.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of physical therapist program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) required.
  • Must have current Alabama license.
  • Must receive Basic Life Support certification within orientation period.
  • Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer member of APTA.
  • Experience in Pediatric setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluations, re-evaluations and ongoing direct patient care with children from birth to 18 years
  • Management of a highly diverse caseload
  • Coordination of care with other providers
