Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program with a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations for children and adults, assessing strength, mobility, coordination, and functional independence
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve movement, strength, and overall functional outcomes
  • Address developmental, injury-related, or age-related challenges, including balance, walking, running, posture, and flexibility
  • Provide hands-on therapy to enhance gross motor function, reduce injury risk, and improve daily performance
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and healthcare professionals to create comprehensive, patient-centered therapy plans
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support continued progress at home, school, or community settings
  • Participate in team meetings for pediatric patients (B-3 or school-based) and adult clients (multidisciplinary rehab teams)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of treatments, progress, and outcomes
