About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: The Staff Speech Language Pathologist (CF/SLP) is a clinical fellow who under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist, CCC is obtaining the clinical experience required to obtain his/her CCCs. The CF/SLP is responsible for evaluation/assessment, planning, educating, and providing habilitative or rehabilitative services for persons who have or are suspected of having speech, voice, language, oral pharyngeal function, developmental, or cognitive disorders. Some travel may be required in the provision of services between facilities and job functions. This position summary contains the most relevant duties, responsibilities and does not exclude other assignments not mentioned.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain current BLCS certification
- Proof of valid Texas Drivers License
- Proof of current auto insurance
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Eligible for ASHA certification
- Licensure in the State of Texas as an Intern Speech Language Pathologist
Nice To Haves
- Membership in professional organization preferred
- Clinical experience preferred
