About The Position

Speech Therapist (ST) Reports To Director of Rehabilitation Job Summary Diagnoses and treats patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Develops therapy plans to maximize communication and swallowing safety.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Current state license.
• Expertise in communication and swallowing disorders.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to educate patients and families.
• Assist patients during therapy activities.
• Frequent sitting, standing, light lifting.
• A Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA when eligible.
• A current state license to practice as a Speech Therapist is required and must be maintained in good standing.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations of speech, language, swallowing.
• Develop and implement therapy plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
