The Speech/Language Pathologist plans and provides direct and indirect therapy to students with articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders. This role involves assessing students and providing therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with students' ability to benefit from the educational program. The pathologist will also implement Response to Intervention strategies with general education students for early intervening services. The position requires collaboration with classroom teachers, maintaining records, and complying with federal, state, and local policies. It also involves fostering a positive school climate, managing student behavior, and engaging with the community to support speech therapy goals.
