Resolute Rehabilitation at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Round Rock is a 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit located at 4681 College Park Drive in Round Rock, Texas . It’s designed to help patients recover from serious illness, injury, or surgery—especially those transitioning from intensive care. Specialized Rehab Services : Offers intensive therapy for conditions like stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic trauma, neurological disorders, amputation , and other complex conditions. Therapy Intensity : Patients typically receive 15 hours of therapy per week , guided by a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and therapists. Modern Facility : Located on the first floor, the unit is equipped with advanced rehab equipment and designed to support recovery in a focused, patient-centered environment. How you’ll contribute The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Strong communication skills and clinical judgement required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
