Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Background in acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred.
  • Current SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC SLP).
  • Active CPR certification.
  • Strong communication abilities, excellent clinical judgment, and a patient focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Assess speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using evidence based tools.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
  • Educate and support patients and their families to ensure understanding of therapy objectives and progress.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and outcomes with accuracy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate high quality, patient centered care.
  • Contribute to additional clinical duties as needed to support smooth department operations.
