Specialist, West Coast Billing
About The Position
The Billing Specialist is an integral role working to support the broader Sales Team. The Billing Specialist will primarily spend their time processing billing and pricing corrections while working cross-functionally with other departments within the company to get credits entered, processed and released. Manage proper execution of reconciliation of vendor incentives (quarterly, monthly, prepay, OI) credits. Keep our communities fed. As the Billing Specialist, you will play an integral part working to support the broader Sales Team. Requirements
- Specialized Knowledge: a passion for numbers
- Special Skills: Basic computer skills
- Proficient in Gmail, Office, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization, prioritization and problem solving skills.
- 2-5 years related industry experience in wholesale or retail.
- Associate Degree - General Studies, High School Diploma - General Studies
Responsibilities
- Working with retailers and the merchandising team to review missing allowance, deals on invoices.
- Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client's or customer's questions.
- Escalating queries and concerns & troubleshooting common pricing issues and corrections
- Working cross functionally with other departments to obtain approval.
- Reviewing Food Show books and order guides to identify deals not entered and communicate to proper personnel to correct.
- Running and completing daily order guide reports for the West Coast and Pacific Northwest.
- Running additional reporting as needed.
