This role will work a hybrid schedule coming into the Columbus, Ohio office 2 days per week on Wednesdays & Thursdays. About the Role We’re looking for a Specialist, Software Engineer to join Nationwide Financial and our Annuity Technology team with a focus on Correspondence. This role is essential in enabling the generation and delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant communications to our members—supporting both New Business and Post-Issue transactions. In this role, you’ll engineer the rules, look & feel, and workflow components that produce a variety of member-facing correspondence, including contract packages, confirms, systematic letters, and quarterly/year‑end statements. You’ll work within an agile, product-centric team and collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technology Analysts, fellow Engineers & Quality Engineers, and Business SMEs to build scalable, modern correspondence solutions. This is a hands-on engineering opportunity to work across rule engines, workflow platforms, and data integrations—shaping the future of how we communicate with our members.
