Task Responsibilities: 1. Security Incident Management & Investigations Collect, review, and analyze security incident reports from the global network. Conduct evidence-based investigations, including on-site fact‑finding missions. Prepare structured investigation conclusions with root-cause analysis and recommended corrective actions. Support improved customer relationship management by providing factual briefs and remediation overviews to Strategic Accounts. Contribute to reducing exposure to unlawful interferences and enhancing the company’s security posture. 2. Security Quality Controls (QC) Support the annual Quality Control Plan by performing audits, inspections, and security tests at identified stations. Evaluate compliance with corporate Security Standards and support continuous improvement. Conduct Quality Controls on stations or processes flagged as high-risk or potentially non-compliant. Expand Aviation Security QC scope to Physical Security requirements at Cargolux outstations. Facilitate and perform unannounced inspections as required. 3. ACC3 Prevalidation Support Perform on‑site ACC3 prevalidation assessments for Cargolux stations. Ensure readiness for official ACC3 validations carried out by the DAC (Luxembourg Civil Aviation Authority). Identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and verify implementation before formal ACC3 validation. 4. Security Contracts Oversee the contractual parts of security service provider operating at Cargolux stations, ensuring contract performance, service quality, and full alignment with our security standards. Essential Requirements For The Position: Education: General school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent (e.g. A-Level, BAC, Abitur) Bachelor degree in Security or equivalent Air Cargo Security experience will be required Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Aviation, Cargo and/or Security At least 3 years of experience in a similar position (Investigator or Auditor) A solid background in air cargo operations, with knowledge on processes and key players Knowledge & operational background in Aviation/Air Cargo and/or Military/Police will constitute an advantage Experience in investigation techniques Experience in Audits Good understanding of EU laws, rules and regulations, International Conventions and/or International Aviation Laws Experience in working with Aviation Authorities Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanich. Proficiency in Portuguese will be considered an advantage Working Conditions: Frequent travel required within the entire allocated region. Ability to travel internationally on short notice. Full time position The position holder is based in Houston, Texas. The position demands a regular presence in the office and requires vacation and other absences to be planned so as to avoid conflicting with service needs. Flexibility may be needed with working hours. The position holder shall keep informed their line manager on their whereabouts and the means of telecommunications through which they will be reachable for urgent company needs, while on company mission.
