About The Position

Tactical Communications (TCOM) International Program Manager responsible for managing the cost, schedule and technical performance requirements of International Programs through all phases from inception to completion. Ensures that all resources such as engineering staffing, subcontractors, production and facilities are available to support internal and external delivery targets. In support of international business, manages programs to achieve TCOM quarterly orders, revenue, OI & cash flow targets. Assists Sales team to secure new orders, formulate requirements, and help expedite orders. Works with customers to determine scope, technical and execution requirements and new business opportunities. Will also travel to the business region as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior experience or Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Experience managing Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) International programs.
  • Experience managing complex integrated systems programs and development.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors in the US and International.
  • Experience managing program budgets >$5M.
  • Assists Sales team to secure future business, formulate requirements, and help expedite orders.
  • Work with customers to determine needs, requirements and new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for the defining scope of work including program deliverables to guide an internal cross-functional team.
  • Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
  • Ability to lead the preparation and estimation of proposals working across internal organizations and external suppliers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment; due to customer time-zone differences the position requires flexibility to work on short notice and early mornings, as needed.
  • International travel experience and ability to travel to the Middle East region up to 20% time.
  • Experience in procurement of defense communication systems.
  • Experience working as part of geographically dispersed and multi-national teams.
  • Knowledge of ITAR and international Export Compliance regulations.
  • Understanding of international shipping terms (Incoterms) and ITAR export control regulations.
