About The Position

This role sits at the center of how the Texas Alliance operates and shows up. You will bring together communications, coordination, and operational support to help the Alliance run effectively while amplifying the impact of Clubs across Texas. This is a remote role open to candidates based in the Southwest Region, including Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas, offering the flexibility to contribute from where you are while staying closely connected to the work across the region. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by both storytelling and execution. You will play a key role in ensuring that the work of the Alliance is well-coordinated, clearly communicated, and positioned for impact.

Requirements

  • Experience in communications, social media, and administrative operations
  • Associate’s degree or higher required
  • Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats
  • Proficiency in digital tools such as Canva, Adobe, and social platforms
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and timely work
  • Effective time management and prioritization across multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational systems and follow-through
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

  • Experience in nonprofit, association, or human services environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Draft and edit newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and stakeholder communications
  • Gather and elevate stories that highlight youth, programs, and impact
  • Manage and grow social media presence, including content calendars and short-form content
  • Create visual assets such as flyers, graphics, and event materials using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools
  • Track analytics and optimize communication strategies
  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials
  • Maintain and update website content
  • Coordinate board and committee meetings, including agendas, materials, and minutes
  • Maintain board records, rosters, and compliance documentation
  • Manage filing systems, shared documents, and organizational records
  • Support staff meetings, training tracking, and internal coordination
  • Manage calendar logistics, travel coordination, and scheduling for leadership
  • Prepare and submit expense reports, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
  • Track and order office supplies and resources
  • Produce monthly reports and dashboards related to grant activity
  • Communicate regularly with local Clubs regarding financial requirements and compliance
  • Coordinate monthly payouts in partnership with BGCA fiscal services
  • Support donor and grantor communications and stewardship
  • Support planning and execution of Alliance events including board meetings, CEO convenings, legislative events, and Youth of the Year
  • Provide onsite event support including logistics, setup, and content capture
  • Serve as a liaison across Alliance staff, BGCA, vendors, and local Clubs
