How you’ll make an impact: The Operations Specialist/Clerk is responsible for data entry, preparing reports, maintaining spreadsheets, and assists leadership in the completion of administrative and clerical duties. This role typical reports to the Operations Supervisor and is based in our Stockbridge Distribution Center. 75%: Daily Operations Responsible for being the subject matter expert and dedicated resource to their assigned functional area. Use the reporting provided for proper execution of all operational process for their assigned, functional area. Creates and maintain distribution files. Research and resolve error reports. Maintains department records. File documents. Submit adjustments to correct inventory as needed. Responsible for observing housekeeping, safety and C-TPAT compliance in assigned area of responsibility. Coordinate with internal and external business partners, including Wave Planning, Inventory, OML, Transportation, Training, and other Distribution Centers within the network to ensure the adherence of area processes. 25%: Support Functions Serve as back-up for Operations Trainers and conduct associate training/re-training as needed. Support the Coordinator/Supervisor in all duties as assigned including all operational areas of the Distribution Center Perform other tasks as assigned. Team player willing to perform various job duties to support the department and the facility objectives and key performance indicators. Ability to lift to 50 pounds repetitively, scan with RF equipment, bend, twist, and be on your feet for shifts up to 12 hours long. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others (Supervisors, Managers, and peers). Flexibility to work overtime and comply with blackout periods (no vacation or personal time allowed) during peak periods. Preferred skills and experience: Microsoft Office skills preferred (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). The ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) equipment as needed.
