About The Position

This position requires an on-site presence of a minimum of five days per week and is only available in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Overall Purpose: Provides high-level administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals, including managing communications, scheduling, and documentation to ensure efficient and effective legal department operations.

Requirements

  • An entry-level professional with foundational knowledge, applying company policies to routine issues.
  • Follows standard procedures to analyze data and perform transactional work.
  • Contributes to project fulfillment and organizational objectives, influencing productivity and expenditures.
  • Works under regular supervision with visibility primarily within the department or region.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative and Clerical Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support, including typing business letters, legal documents, and correspondence, as well as preparing reports using Word and Excel.
  • Scheduling and Calendar Management: Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for senior executives, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Office Management and Record Keeping: Develop and maintain filing systems, coordinate workspace and office equipment requests, and ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with records retention policies.
  • Legal Research and Document Preparation: Assist with basic legal research, understand legal terminology and document formatting, and prepare legal documents and presentation materials using PowerPoint.
  • Special Projects and Administrative Duties: Perform work on special projects involving research, data analysis, and report preparation, and handle administrative tasks such as processing bills, vouchers, payroll, and coordinating charitable campaigns and employee recognition programs.
