About The Position

At ViiV, we have an exciting portfolio and an exceptional pipeline. We are looking for an experienced Specialist Account Manager to join the team. As a Specialist Account Manager, you will promote ViiV Healthcare brands to healthcare professionals specialising in HIV. You will be Sydney based, with your territory covering east and south Sydney , with a regular rotation to Canberra. Your role will be varied and will include: Conducting best in industry selling conversations with ID Physicians, Immunologists, Sexual Health Physicians, S100 GPs, Specialist Pharmacists and Nurses Analyse territory opportunities and assuming a leadership role to build a strategy that incorporates key account management Building strong cross-functional relationships with the medical and marketing team to influence ViiV Healthcare strategic approach Maintain a high-level of HIV disease state product knowledge Building a reliable and trusted perception of ViiV Healthcare About you? To be successful in the role of Specialist Account Manager , you will need to be a highly motivated, self-starter. You will bring your passion for the role and a growth mindset to the team, along with prior experience in pharma specialist/hospital sales. You will also: Have strong business acumen, ability to influence and a proven track record of performance Demonstrate exceptional communication and organisational skills Have practical knowledge of the Australian healthcare system; particularly, pharmacy, hospitals and formularies Bachelor degree in a science or business-related discipline Knowledge and understanding, or interest in HIV preferred

Requirements

  • Be a highly motivated, self-starter
