About The Position

The WORLD Internship Program is a 10-week program aimed to develop a bench of talented professionals who will be able to join us after college graduation. In this internship, you will gain exposure to enterprise‑level business strategy by supporting the Chief Growth Officer and the Head of Practice Areas. You will learn how strategic initiatives are developed across multiple industries, how market opportunities are evaluated, and how data informs decision‑making. Throughout the program, you will contribute to research, analysis, and project work that supports WORLD’s broader organizational strategy. Key components of the program include In addition to the work you do with your manager daily, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in programs and events over the 10 weeks. Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a business program at an accredited university or college and graduating in May 2027 or December 2026. (Graduates and students enrolled in Insurance and Risk Management programs strongly preferred)
  • Must be willing to work onsite, M-F between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (we do not offer remote internships)
  • Possess strong organization / administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members. Self-motivated and driven.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior customer support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Growth Officer and Head of Practice Areas with special projects across multiple industries.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of strategy presentations for senior leadership.
  • Conduct research and analysis on key markets, competitive landscapes, and potential market opportunities.
  • Analyze sales production results and support the interpretation of business performance trends.
  • Work on a variety of cross‑department projects aligned with organizational strategy and priority projects.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging industry trends to support strategic planning.
  • Participate in business strategy discussions and contribute analytical insights.
  • Perform research, data analysis, and summarize results to support decision‑making.
