The Oregon State Correctional Institution (OSCI) is seeking a motivated, collaborative professional for the role of Special Housing Coordinator. This position provides leadership, structure, and coordination for programming within the Special Housing Unit. This is a developmental job rotation, anticipated to last 12 months, though it may be extended or decreased based on business needs. This rotation is available for current regular status employees of the Oregon Department of Corrections or Oregon Corrections Enterprises with their current manager's approval. Candidates who do not meet the minimum qualifications for this classification may be considered as a developmental candidate, though they are not eligible for Work Out of Class Differential. The Special Housing Program Coordinator is responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating all program activities within OSCI’s Special Housing Unit. This role is critical in supporting Adult in Custody (AIC) stabilization, behavior change, and successful transition back to general population while maintaining institutional safety and security.
