This position provides specialized instructional support to students with the highest level of need. To ensure exceptional service delivery, the classroom is structured with a significantly reduced caseload, allowing the teacher to offer highly individualized instruction, develop and implement IEPs, and facilitate meaningful, well-planned family and team meetings. Although the students in this setting require higher levels of support, the small class size fosters strong relationship-building, targeted skill development, and a collaborative, supportive learning environment. Students assigned to the adapted classroom also participate in their general education grade-level environments, promoting same-age peer interactions, inclusion, and the development of essential social and communication skills. The classroom is additionally supported by one full-time teacher assistant and an additional assistant who rotates in and out of the classroom, ensuring consistent, high-quality support for both students and staff.
