Qualifications: CT teaching certification in Special Education K-12 (165/065) or Remedial Reading (102) Certification in Multi-Sensory Reading Programs such as Wilson or Orton-Gillingham Prior experience working with students with special needs, including dyslexia Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organization skills Must be highly motivated and self-directed Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with individual student teams Provide Case Manager services, including development, implementation, and monitoring of IEP goals and objectives; liaison with general education teachers; communication with home; running Team meetings.
