About The Position

The Spare Parts Manager is responsible for ensuring the right service parts are available at the right place and time to support installation, maintenance, and repair of United Imaging Healthcare systems. This role leads the spare parts program across forecasting, inventory planning, warehousing/3PL management, logistics, returns/repairs, and cross-functional coordination with Field Service, Technical Support, Manufacturing, and Procurement to deliver high service levels while optimizing cost and inventory health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in spare parts, service supply chain, inventory planning, or logistics operations (medical devices, imaging, or high-tech preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience managing inventory optimization, forecasting, and replenishment systems.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and inventory systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and WMS/TMS tools.
  • Strong analytical skills (Excel required; Power BI/Tableau or similar strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional problem solving and manage escalations calmly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate operational detail into executive-level summaries.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting complex capital equipment service organizations (medical imaging, diagnostics, robotics, semiconductor tools, etc.).
  • APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) and/or Lean/Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience managing 3PL partners and multi-site distribution networks.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments and traceability requirements.
  • Bilingual skills (based on region) and experience working with global teams/suppliers.
