Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in senior security support roles, including managing collateral classified activities, SAP operations, and anti-tamper requirements
  • Experience with secure facilities and proper handling of classified information across multiple programs
  • Knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07, Volumes 1-4, and DoD policies and procedures
  • Ability to document and implement security methods and decisions for operations, including risk mitigation strategies
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Completion of DSS/CDSE Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Program, or DSS Information, Industrial, and Physical Security Training

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Space programs
  • Experience supporting the U.S. Space Force or other military space programs
  • Experience with security-related systems, such as JPAS, JADE, and AFRIMS, and visitor control functions, particularly in space program environments
  • Experience in program protection planning, including vulnerability analysis and countermeasure integration, with emphasis on safeguarding space-related technologies, satellites, ground stations, and orbital infrastructure
  • Experience with analytical writing, including drafting plans, security assessments, reports, and briefings specifically around space assets and operations
  • Knowledge of COMSEC material handling and space communications protocols
  • Ability to assist with providing ongoing assessments and updates to security policies, ensuring continuous improvement tailored to space risks and mission profiles
