Acara Solution is seeking a Space Force - Tester - Tracking for our client, located in Scottsdale, AZ . As a Software Tester for the SDA GMI program, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ground operational systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues and ensure our software meets the highest standards. Design, develop, and execute test plans, procedures, and scenarios for space tracking systems (satellites, debris, launch vehicles). Verify that tracking algorithms, sensors, and software accurately detect, identify, and maintain custody of space objects. Assess tracking data quality, latency, precision, and system performance under nominal and stress conditions. Test interoperability between sensors (radar, optical, RF), command-and-control systems, and data fusion platforms. Identify defects, inconsistencies, or anomalies; analyze root causes; and coordinate fixes with engineers and operators. Support operational test events to ensure systems meet mission requirements before deployment. Produce test reports, metrics, and recommendations to inform leadership and acquisition decisions. Ensure systems comply with Space Force requirements, safety standards, and cybersecurity policies. Provide feedback to improve tracking capabilities, resilience, and scalability as threats and mission needs evolve. Up-to-date with the latest trends in software testing and quality assurance.
