About The Position

As a Software Integrator and Tester for the SDA GMI program, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ground operational systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues and ensure our software meets the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Solid knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Solid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
  • Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate system functionality
  • Design, execute, and manage test cases, ensuring comprehensive defect management
  • Conduct component-level end-to-end integration and verification using simulated external interfaces
  • Analyze logs and artifacts alongside design documents to identify and isolate issues
  • Validate system performance through rigorous testing strategies
  • Develop and execute tests and scripts using programming languages such as Python and Java
  • Apply security testing methodologies, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to ensure system integrity
  • Document and maintain test cases, test plans, and test results with clarity and precision.
