About The Position

As the Space Enterprise Coordinator for a national security program conducting 24/7 Space Warfighting operations, you will synchronize communication, procedural workflows, system integration and training efforts acr o ss o perations centers , mission ground stations (MGSs) , commercial resources and other partnered agencies . As a space defense mission and system subject-matter expert (SME), you will facil itate the rapid adoption of developing system tools and align network capabilities to maximize a total - enterprise force response to meet rising challenges within the space domain . A successful candidate will frequently travel and liaise with DoD, IC a nd supporting commercial community staff and leadership to assess mission protection readiness, best practices, and identify potential risks to assure inform ed program management and customer decision-makers. The a bility to manage training and coordinate participation in cross -organizational exercise s from both tactical and operati onal perspectives with advanced knowledge of specialized Indications and Warning (I&W) tools is fundamental to this position. Additionally, you will maintain knowledge of current task orders, space events, systems & mission needs and programmatic goal timelines – serving as a SME focal point for the program, customer and related system development contracts while ensuring strategic plans are implemented as intended.

Requirements

Minimum 12 years ’ prior relevant experience with bachelor’s degree (BS); 1 6 years ’ relevant experience in lieu of degree , 10 years’ relevant experi ence with M S degree or PHD in related field
8 + years’ experience working in high-tempo space operational environment with contractors and government officials (both military and civilian) of all ranks and leadership levels
Understanding and prior applied knowledge of orbital mechanics and space surveillance systems
6 + years management experience supervising personnel and/or leading relevant ops teams
Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated CI Poly

Nice To Haves

10+ years’ experience working in high-tempo space operational environment with contractors and government officials (both military and civilian) of all ranks and leadership levels
6+ years’ experience with STK or other astrodynamics systems ( i.e. ASW, ATLAS, SPADOC and/or available I&W tools)
6+ years’ experience working within I ntelligence Community supporting space domain mission s
Experience in Planning, ( i.e. Joint Operational Planning & Execution S ystem (JOPES), CCMD/Joint Staff planning process , J oint S pecial T echnical O perations or managing team execution of Joint DoD and IC plans and task orders

Responsibilities

Work closely with Strategic Plans D ivision and Mission Protection to ensure approved task orders are implemented as intended across customer enterprise
Maintain enterprise wide-situational awareness and operational picture continuity
Measure effectiveness & performance criteria development ; assess risk and predic t performance and coordinate with IC and DoD stakeholders
Coordinate training and exercise events for national operations centers and MGSs
Synchronize planning efforts ; ensure Course of Action (COA) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedure (TTPs) meet mission protection needs through training , exercise s and test checkout
A ssess Collection Management prioritization and mission impact drive improve d efficiencies
Liaise with operations centers and enterprise-wide leadership ; lead briefings, facilitate tours
Document Weekly Activi ty Reports (WARs) track ing significant enterprise statuses and progressions
Facilitate testing & integration efforts as new technologies link with all space protection missions
Support strategic planning and anticipate future threats and operational requirements
Frequent ly travel to partnered operations centers (CONUS, multiple sites within program) and ground segments
Work full-time on-site at a government facility in Colorado Springs, CO
