About The Position

Job Overview: Execute daily spa operations and provide assistance to spa staff personnel and guests by providing exceptional customer service so that the guest experience at Arum Spa is memorable. Receives guests, assists them with their needs, directs the guests as appropriate and performs various administrative duties. Job Description Spa Reception Agent Sonesta Resort located in Hilton Head Island, SC is seeking a Spa/Salon Receptionist.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum one-year experience in spa and retail environment.
  • Must maintain excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a high school diploma, speak fluent English and be proficient in Microsoft Word.
  • Multi-line phone system knowledge.
  • The ability to operate basic office equipment, such as a calculator, dictation equipment.
  • Knowledge of computers and software programs, such as; scheduling, e-mail and word processing.
  • This job requires ability to perform the following:
  • Carrying or lifting up to 25 pounds.

  • Basic math skills
  • Will be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day spa operations.
  • Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Answer the phone in a professional and knowledgeable manner, obtain appropriate information and address the guest’s needs.
  • Recommends and schedules service appointments and service packages.
  • Assists with group booking and coordination.
  • Maximizes business levels.
  • Schedule new appointments and answer all calls that come into the spa
  • Cross-sell and upsell services.
  • Works closely with the Spa Director and/or Supervisor to educate, promote and sell merchandise on an on-going basis.
  • Basic record keeping practices and procedures
  • Daily maintenance of the spa's lobby/reception area
  • Promote teamwork and quality service by daily communication and coordination with Spa Director and Spa Supervisor.
  • Ensure that guests are greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism while always providing the highest level of exceptional customer service and are invited back at departure.
  • Provides tours to potential client’s on site-visits.
  • Acts as an ambassador for Sonesta while at work and away.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
