About The Position

The Spa Receptionists are responsible for greeting and providing a variety of services to guests and Beach Club Members. Answering phone calls, booking appointments for both spa and fitness, checking guests in and out, giving spa tours and promoting retail and services are some of the duties Spa Receptionists do. Exceptional guest service and exceeding guest’s expectations are paramount and part of everything we do at the spa. The Spa Receptionist meets and greets Guests showing enthusiasm and willingness to make their stay at the hotel a memorable one. The Spa Receptionist purpose is to ensure that the level of service provided to the guest is highly individualized and that each guest feels that their comfort and convenience are the principal concerns of The Gasparilla Inn.

Requirements

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to use a Computer

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as Spa Receptionist or Hotel Front Desk Receptionist.
  • Knowledge of computers.
  • Previous cashiering experience.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.

  • Maintain and demonstrate complete knowledge of:
  • All hotel features, services and hours of operation.
  • Scheduled daily group activities.
  • Maintain complete knowledge and comply with hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Promote retail and up-sell all services in an attempt to achieve spa revenue target.
  • Maximize room utilization and revenues thru bookings.
  • Provide service providers with an accurate daily schedule throughout shift.
  • Assist in Locker Rooms when needed.
  • Schedule various services for individuals and large groups utilizing spa reservations software system.
  • Input and access data in computer to maximize daily revenues.
  • Perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
