About The Position

The Spa Receptionist is responsible for providing refined luxury guest service to create lasting and favorable memories. This position executes the company’s core service standards and sustainability initiatives. Job functions include assisting resort & local guests with reserving spa appointments, bridal suite events and fitness needs as well as providing all other supporting services. All duties are to be performed in accordance with Sunseeker Resorts, department and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of guest service experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year POS/scheduling experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in handling multi-line phones.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
  • Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
  • Excellent organizational skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all contacts
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent guests service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent service consistent with the property's core service standards and brand attributes.
  • Proactively seek to provide luxury service ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Proactively greet, interact, and assist all guests in a professional manner to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious spa environment.
  • Meet the demands of a fast-paced environment by using good judgment and the ability to multi-task.
  • Answer a multi-line phone system, assist guests with questions and book reservations.
  • Practice teamwork, create a positive work environment, warmly interact with fellow team members and thank them when they lend assistance.
  • Handle room charges and credit card transactions when taking payments for services and retail purchases.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct use of spa POS and online booking platforms.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, no matter how busy or time of day.
  • Be familiar with all Resort services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Be knowledgeable of your department and resort goals.
  • Own all requests and complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up with management to ensure the guest's satisfaction.
  • Identify and report defects throughout the spa; notify manager immediately of hazards, injuries, equipment or processes that negatively affect the operations.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as requested.
