An icon in the Miami Beaches, located near Sunny Isles, this beachside hotel brings a new era of luxury, with celebrated dining and a world-class spa, to its Surfside shores. About the role The Spa Manager and overseas the operations of the Spa department. Creating, developing and implementing of Spa and Wellness treatments and concepts is crucial to this role. The Spa Director must demonstrate effective retail management and knowledge of local practices.

Requirements

  • Training and credentials to include degree or appropriate equivalent in one of the following areas of study - Hotel/Hospitality Management, Spa Management, or Exercise Physiology
  • 3-5 Years Spa Management Experience
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Establish treatment protocols for cutting edge spa treatments and massage therapies, conducting professional training and compliance in Four Seasons service standards utilizing a high degree of Spa product knowledge to develop indigenous and specialized treatments that will distinguish our Spa from the competition.
  • Recruit, interview and select certified therapists, estheticians, spa receptionists, and attendants with an eye for appropriate credentials and training.
  • Schedule staff and complete payroll records in accordance with budgeted guidelines
  • Fiscally manage a Spa and Fitness facility with proven skills in budgeting, forecasting, yield management, utilization, menu management, and retail management
  • Order and maintain inventories for all operational and retail supplies.
  • Maintain compliance in all Health Code and Licensing requirements of the State of Florida.
  • Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation
