The Spa Concierge Role is extremely important as the First Impression and final farewell to all Spa guests. We require guest facing experience and a welcoming, friendly personality to ensure all guests are handled with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. This will include heavy guest interaction, booking appointments, explaining and suggesting spa services, giving tours, recommending and selling products and gift cards.

  • Demonstrate previous spa concierge and/or other spa work experience and strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and/or sales experience and/or ability to promote and sell services and products.
  • Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm, motivation and motivational ability.
  • Demonstrate professional manner, oral and written communication, discretion, and appearance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to successfully collaborate, cooperate, and contribute to the organization and to colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree
  • Two to five years in a similar role in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Deep knowledge of local goods and services in critical, along with established vendor contacts.
  • Knowledge of Forbes Standards

Responsibilities

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of and adherence to all procedures, protocols, and standards of Hotel and SPA.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and skills in all spa services, tools, equipment, and products offered.
  • Effectively inquire, assess, inform, explain, educate and provide treatment addressing guest/client specific needs and concerns, and, when applicable, the contraindications restricting or preventing treatment.
  • Effectively suggests to The Spa guest any additional services and products of interest or benefit to them.
  • Participate in and successfully complete all training, education, and certifications required by The Spa.
  • Obtains complete and accurate information for spa guest profile during the reservation process.
  • Offers and books Spa services quickly and efficiently according to established standards.
  • Maintains and nurtures contacts with service providers and spa attendants.
  • Maintain the highest levels of professional performance, conduct, client service, safety, and hygiene in work areas and throughout the SPA.
  • Maintains a deep knowledge of Spa services, products, and promotions.
  • Acts as an ambassador of the Spa to all Hotel guests and Residents.
  • Develop and maintain thorough deep knowledge of hotel and club services and current events
  • Assures information about the Spa is updated, current, and readily available.
  • Provides appointment information and confirmations. Provides pre-arrival itineraries as necessary.
  • Meets, greets and check-in /out all Spa guests.
  • Handles guest requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Complies with all Work Rules, Safety Standards and Standards of Conduct as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Refers spa guest inquiries or concerns to a manager as appropriate.
  • Handle and address incoming and outgoing correspondences (email, vxm, team chat messages, etc)
  • May be assigned other duties at the discretion of management.
