Position: Spa Coordinator Department: Spa Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.) â¢Constant interaction with guests by phone or in person making Spa/Salon reservations and explaining services â¢Accurately enter reservations for treatment room and therapist â¢Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner. Maintain pleasant and welcoming demeanor in person and over the phone â¢Ensures The Greenbrier experience â¢Adheres to policies of the facility â¢Reports any incidents or accidents to the Spa Director â¢Submits all paperwork and financial reporting, when applicable â¢Develops and maintains accurate department maintenance procedures and checklists through routine preventative maintenance and repair â¢Maintains a monthly inventory of supplies and/or products, when applicable â¢Becomes knowledgeable about the facility and its amenities in order to effectively communicate with members and/or guests â¢Participates in the Manager on Duty (MOD) schedule, if applicable â¢Helps ensure facility is only accessed by actual members and/or guests, and that it is safe and secure at all times â¢Greets each and every guest with a smile and direct eye contact â¢Goes the extra mile for members and guests by offering to make reservations, find directions, look up phone numbers, etc â¢Uses time efficiently throughout shift by checking equipment, locker rooms, gift shop stocks, inventory, etc. Ensures proper coverage when itâs necessary to leave the area â¢Keeps area clear of clutter and personal effects â¢Informs co-worker(s) of pertinent information at the end of the shift. Maintains and updates staff communication book â¢Informs facility manager of any member, guest, or facility issues â¢Enrolls members and guests in programs. Makes reservations for spa services and personal training, when applicable â¢Receives payments for goods and services and properly accounts for the money. Reconciles daily sales, deposits, and receipts, when applicable â¢Assists staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to help maintain facility and prepare for special events Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days) â¢32-40 hours per week in season â¢Staffing requires availability on holidays and 7 day a week operation â¢Shifts - Flexible In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria in addition to the Mobil 5 Star Service Standards for All Employees.
